Religious Studies | Religion and Sexuality
R610 | 3661 | Michael Satlow

In this seminar we will explore the thorny and complex relationships
between two modern constructed categories, religion and sexuality.
While our focus will be on texts from early Christianity and Judaism,
we will also engage modern theoretical approaches as well as other
religious traditions.

Graduate students of all disciplines and religious traditions are
welcome. Students will be expected to present to the class original
work based on primary sources.
