In this introductory sociology course, we will explore the
sociological perspective and learn how sociologists understand and
examine the world around us.  We will touch on many of the
substantive topics of interest to sociologists such as education,
family, class, inequality, politics, and health.  Also, we will
explore the various theoretical perspectives and research methods
sociologists use to understand society.
