The course will focus on the design and planning of the office
within an historic building.  We will study the steps involved in
the renovation and restoration of a historic building for use as a
modern office space.  Invited speakers will represent professionals
involved in the design and development of the project.  Guest
speakers may include designers, engineers, representatives from
State and federal agencies; contractors involved in the construction
of projects depending on historic status, and end users of the
project.  Field trips to local offices will be included.

Course requirements: attendance, suggested readings, required field
trips, final examination.
