Course description: Course Description: This is a seminar-style
course in plant physiology and developmental ecology that will examine
the role these processes play in plant adaptation and ecology. In
particular, we will focus on historical effects and the role of
storage, particularly carbon storage, in modulating plant responses to
environmental change. We will read papers drawn from the literature
on plant physiology, development, population ecology, clone and
reproductive biology and ecosystem ecology with the balance among
subjects responsive to the interests of those in the class.
