G150: Elementary Greek II
Section 0903 meets from 2:30P-3:20P MTWR in BH 237.  This section
meets with G550 open only to graduates.

This course completes the yearlong introduction to the fundamentals of
ancient Greek (G100/G150).  Working our way through "Athenaze," Book
2, we will acquire enough familiarity with the structure and syntax of
the Greek language to begin reading and appreciating continuous
ancient texts in the original.  Upon satisfactory completion of G150,
students may proceed directly to the Classical Studies Department's
second-year reading courses, in which students read Plato, the New
Testament, and Homeric epic poetry.
