(4 cr.) P:G413 or equivalent.  Application of geophysical principles
to field and laboratory experiments, with emphasis on data
acquisition, analysis, and geologic interpretation.  Experiments
include earthquake sesimology, electrical resistivity, magnetic and
gravity surveys, and reflection and refraction seismology. Course
includes 5 all-day Saturday fieldtrips (dates TBA). G423 is a COAS
Intensive Writing Section and also requires registration in COAS
