Hydrogeology of Carbonate Terrains (3 cr)  Course covers a wide range
of subjects from Karst to carbonates acting as a porous media.  Both
the physical flow and the chemistry and stable isotopes of carbonate
systems will be discussed.  The main geographic areas are the
Mississippian age carbonates of southern Indiana and Kentucky, the
Edwards Aquifer of Texas and the Floridian Aquifer.  There will be one
required weekend field trip either to Mammoth Cave, Kentucky or to
Fayetteville, Arkansas (date TBA).
