S332 The Hispanic World II (3 credits)
Prerequisite: S331 or equivalent

Society and the Individual: An introduction to the study of Spanish
literature through the reading of plays, short novels, short stories,
and poetry.  Thematically, the course reflects the changing
representation of the individual's place in society across the
centuries. The course is taught in Spanish with emphasis on discussion
of the texts. Grades are based on daily discussion and three in-class
examinations. Participation in daily class discussion
is required.

Credit given for only two of the following: S331, S332, S333.
