Evaluates recent developments in mental health in relation to their
implications for health education. Reviews the role of health
educators in supportive listening, crisis intervention, and
appropriate counseling and referral strategies. Special problem areas
include obesity, aging and death, substance abuse, stress and
depression, family planning, and diseases.
