CLASS TIME:  March 25 and April 1, 7:00-10:00pm in the IMU Hoosier Room
(Attendance at both classes is required to attend travel dates)

TRAVEL DATES:  April 4-6

LOCATION:  Daniel Boone National Forest, Kentucky

DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to introduce you to the basic
skills of rock  climbing.  R100 Rock Climbing is a highly experiential
course where you must engage in site setting and maintenance, genuine
reflection, and new skill demonstration.  You will be evaluated on
these dimensions, as well as your expedition behavior.

BOOKS:  How to Rock Climb, Third Edition, John Long

ASSIGNMENTS:  Readings, short presentations, and a written exam

EVALUATION:  60% new skill acquisition, 30% written exam, 10% short
presentation

ADDITIONAL FEE:  The additional fee for the class is $200.00 which
includes transportation, food, and group gear.  You will sign a bursar
slip the first day of class to pay this fee.
