CLASS TIME:  January 21, 7:00-10:00pm in the IMU Redbud Tree Suite
(Attendance at class is required to attend travel dates)

TRAVEL DATES:  January 24-26

LOCATION: Manistee National Forest, Michigan

DESCRIPTION:  This course will entail 2 days of snowshoeing at
Manistee National Forest in Michigan.  The goal of this course is to
experience and practice snowshoeing, winter camping, and accomplish
group responsibilities.

BOOKS:  Snow Shoeing: Fourth Edition, by Gene Prater

Assignments:  50% new skill acquisition, 30% written exam, 20% short
presentation

ADDITIONAL FEE:  The additional fee for the class is $200.00 which
includes transportation, food, and group camping gear.  You will sign
a bursar slip the first day of class to pay this fee.
