CLASS TIME:  April 14 and 21, 7:00-10:00pm in the IMU Hoosier Room
(Attendance at class is required to attend travel dates)

TRAVEL DATES:  April 25-27

LOCATION:  Hoosier National Forest, Indiana

DESCRIPTION:  This course is designed to introduce the basic skills
needed to survive in a backcountry environment for a specific amount
of time.

BOOKS:  Tom Brown's Guide to Wilderness Survival, by Tom Brown

ASSIGNMENTS:  Readings, short presentations, and a written exam

EVALUATION:  50% new skill acquisition, 30% written exam, 20% short
presentation

ADDITIONAL FEE:  The additional fee for the class is $200.00 which
includes transportation, food, and group gear.  You will sign a bursar
slip the first day of class to pay this fee.
