Course Title/Credits: Teaching Children with Disabilities in the
Outdoors / 1 credit
Class Times and Days: Apr 11, Friday, 9am-6pm
Description of Course Content: This course, supported by the Camping
and Retreats Center as well as the Environmental Resource Center at
Bradford Woods, is designed to give students an overview of general
disability awareness as well as to provide both theory and practical
application for teaching children of all ability levels in the
outdoors.
Required Books List: Assigned readings.
Summary of Assignments: OnCourse discussion forums; Create adaptive
lesson plans
