M330 Exploring Mathematical Ideas (3 cr.) N & M P: M211 or consent of
the department. An experimental course to illustrate important ideas
in major areas of mathematics, including number theory, group theory,
topology, geometry, and probability. Additional topics may include
newly emerging fields, such as chaos theory. Does not count toward
major requirements
