C101

Ancient Greek Culture C101 will introduce students to the culture of
the Greek world from the Late Bronze Age (second millennium BC) to
the Classical period (480-323 BC).  The course will make students
familiar with Greek literature, art, philosophy, and history, as well
as civic institutions and religious practices.  Class lectures will
be accompanied by slide presentations and the course will include at
least one visit to the IU art museum.  There are no prerequisites.
