G407 Greek Historians (3 CR)
This course will focus on Herodotus' History. Students will read
selections from Books 1 and 2 of this work in ancient Greek, and the
entirety in English. We will seek to locate Herodotus within his
cultural context and within the tradition of ancient historiography.
