P: grade of C or better in K301 or equivalent proficiency

The objective of this course is to develop writing and speaking
skills, and especially skills that will allow competent independent
reading of as a variety of texts.  Students will be trained both in
close and in rapid reading comprehension.  Emphasis will be placed
on complementing the students= previous knowledge of Korean,
expanding their vocabulary, and familiarizing them with various
communicative settings, particularly through authentic material.
