This section for GR only.

A thorough historical survey of the remains of the best preserved
ancient Rome city.  Readings and lectures in architectural history
and daily life.  There will be a midterm and a cumulative final
examination, both comprised of slide identifications as well as
essay questions.  There is no required texts: rather, a course
packet is required, and there will be extensive reserve reading.
