Course Description:  An introduction to the techniques and processes
for
personal chemical risk assessment, risk management, safety
preparedness, and
hazard control as they affect individuals who are exposed to chemical
hazards in
consumer products, medications, food additives, supplements, etc. The
course
will focus on Chemical Safety for consumers, but will touch on the
hazards of
chemical releases from manufacturing, storage and transportation as
well.

Textbook: None Students are to use lecture notes and various web
sites for
their information sources to complete course requirements.
