This course follows the Beach Boys from their humble surf beginnings to their
mid-60's pinnacle of studio creativity, Pet Sounds, Next, Captain Beefheart
whose Dada blend of Delta Blues, free jazz, rock 'n' roll,  art and poetry has
caused many critics to exhaust their thesaurus.And finally, the Residents have
been operforming and releasing music for 30 years. Their story will be told
through their music and films.
