Course Objectives:  Students will gain an understanding of the
development and operation of voice/data/video networks.  Material
will review technological, economic, social, and political issues
from an historical perspective.  Current and future direction will
be examined.

Format:  Lecture/discussion

Requirements:  Meets COAS and Telecom. 300-400 level course
requirements.
