T423 Acting V
Prerequisites:  THTR T420 and Instructor Recommendation or Audition.
At least Junior standing.
May be taken for Graduate credit.

Course objectives:

A.	Approaches to acting in styles from Post Shakespearean Drama
(1650-1800), Naturalism (1800-1900) and the Modern Age (1900-2000).
B.	A particular emphasis on language, movement and manners and
how they create social and behavioral necessity of Style.
C.	An introduction to the playing of comedy and farce.
D.	The research of period and modern resources (art, music,
film, literature etc) as a means of making the plays come alive for
the actor.
