K 217 Business Process Tools (3 cr.) P: X 201. This course focuses on extracting
information from already-existing databases. In particular, the focus is more on database
warehouses and data mining than on design of efficient transactional databases. The
themes of the course include learning Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), mastering
Excel pivot tables, summarizing data from databases, and learning online.
