Study of rules of criminal procedure and their bases in federal and
state constitutional law or statutes, with particular attention to
the constitutionalization of criminal procedure and the protections
embedded in the Bill of Rights.
NOTE: Substantive criminal law is covered in the first semester of
this course and it is not necessary to take the two parts in order.
