Topic : Design & Evaluation of Mixed/Augmented Reality Systems
This section open to graduate students only.
Emphasis is on new developments and research in informatics.
Can be repeated twice for credit when topics vary, subject to
approval of the dean.
The focus of this course will be "designing effective mixed reality
interfaces". This is a project based course in which students will
work in teams to develop the interface design for a system and/or
conduct research on a mixed reality interface concept. While
usability is important, the goal of these projects is to understand
how these interfaces impact performance (e.g., complete jobs faster,
decrease error, etc.).
