This is an introduction to theories about the relationship between
global political and economic systems.  Topics include:
globalization; monetary flows, trade, and investment; regimes and
governance of the global economy;  and problems of economic
development.  Grades will be based on a midterm (25%), a paper (25%),
a final examination (40%) and classroom participation (10%).
