Prerequisite: C484.
This course teaches students the fundamental techniques used in
biochemical research, including spectrophotometry, protein
purification and analysis, electrophoresis, enzyme kinetics, methods
for probing protein-ligand interactions, and recombinant DNA
methods. In addition, this course provides students the opportunity
to polish their scientific writing and other communication skills
that prospective employers emphasize when they describe ideal job
candidates.
