C 360 Latin Literature in Translation
The Empire and After:  This course will proceed more or less
chronologically from the authors of Imperial Rome through writers who
witnessed the decay of the Western Empire and European beginnings.
Texts will include prose and poetry across a variety of genres from
authors including Statius, Martial, Tacitus, Suetonius, Apuleius,
Perpetua, Augustine, Jerome, Boethius, Gregory of Tours, and others.
