C395 Topics in Classical Art and Archaeology (3 cr.) Topic for Spring
2006: The Art of the Classical Age of Greece.
In this course we will explore the architecture, sculpture, and
painting of the sixth, fifth, and early 4th centuries B.C., with
special emphasis on the monuments of Periklean Athens. Textbooks will
be available at the Friends of Art Bookstore in the Fine Arts
building. This course meets with FINA A311.
Prerequisites: FINA A101 or CLAS C206 or FINA C206. Please do not
register for this course if you have not already fulfilled these
prerequisites.
