Chinese calligraphy, one of the most revered and popular writing art forms,
spans over several thousand years.  Most recently, many of the elements of
calligraphy are becoming adapted by modern Western art especially in
industrial art.  It is a mental exercise that coordinates the mind, the eyes and
the hand. It is a method of concentration to reduce stress for one's physical
and spiritual well being. The course offers the basic skills of Chinese
calligraphy, such as sitting posture, basic stroke skills, sequential steps and
structuring. After this course, you will be able to make small calligraphy
projects and use a single brush to produce an infinite variety of styles and
forms.
