One Discussion Section is for Honor Students only.

This course introduces the tools of grammatical analysis as well as
the theory and principles upon which these analyses are built.
Analytical methods will be applied to problems selected from
phonetics, phonology, morphology, and syntax.  Basic concepts are
laid out in Tuesday lecture and expanded upon in the discussion
section.  The discussion section is intended to develop skills of
linguistic analysis and argumentation by working through data-based
problems.
