The purpose of P105 is to acquaint you with a basic understanding of
human reasoning.  This course will challenge you to do more than
memorize information; you will work to acquire the skill of critical
thinking.  The course will explore the nature of logic and
rationality as well as some common ways in which human thinking goes
awry.  The readings for the course will include philosophical essays
as well as a book on cognitive psychology.
