Telecommunications | Intro to Design and Production
T206 | 20672-20678 | Kelly, S.
This course aims to lay the foundations necessary for understanding,
critiquing, and applying the production and design techniques used
in television and film production. We will begin by looking at story
telling, investigating the range of stories told and how these
stories are formally structured. We will then examine how stories
get interpreted by the techniques of visual media, looking at the
crafts of cinematography, lighting, editing, sound, and set design.
This course counts toward Arts and Humanities distribution
