Course Description and Content: Designed for Apparel Merchandising
majors to provide an off-campus supervised and coordinated work
experience in the apparel industry. Students work under the
supervision of a pre-arranged mentor, many times an alum in the
industry.
Required Texts and Readings: None
Outline Course Requirements: Student must contact their assigned
mentor and work with them during mutually arranged days during the
semester (6 in total). Students prepare written assignments and a
paper detailing experiences in the industry and mentors complete a
final evaluation
Other Comments: Only a total of 6 credits in H321 and Y398 can be
counted towards graduation.
