Course format: Seminar: ARR.

Requirements: Open to graduate students only.

Course description: This course will empower students to develop and
analyze their own ecology-based models and use those models as
statistical hypotheses with maximum likelihood-based techniques and
computing (Mathematica and Matlab environments). Topics include: one-
and multi-species models; equilibria; stability analysis; non-linear
population dynamics; bifurcations; maximum likelihood; model
competition and information criteria.
