Writing Poetry 2

AUTHORIZATION OF INSTRUCTOR REQUIRED.

W614 is a graduate course in the writing of poetry, its enrollment
limited to students admitted to the MFA program in poetry.  Students
will generally compose one poem each week, will submit revisions of
poems, write response papers to books selected from the reading
list, and write a larger paper based on poetics and contemporary
poetry. I will also give writing assigments and exercises based on
our discussions and the particulars of your work.
