Students will improve their command of French grammar and build
vocabulary through intensive writing. The course familiarizes
students with a variety of literary, expository, and communicative
writing styles and prepares them for 300-level literature classes.
The course textbook is A vous d’écrire, with some
supplemental readings. Grades are based on participation and six
writing assignments of varying length.
