Epidemiology (3 cr.) Epidemiology is a basic public health science
applied in individual and community health studies, health care, and
policy decisions. Methods and measures for population health
monitoring, describing disease and injury distribution, identifying casual
mechanisms, determining appropriate interventions, and evaluating
prevention and control measures are described for major health
conditions.
