Permission is needed to enroll in this course. Contact Joelene

L405 in the spring is a 1-credit preparation course for the final
capstone project in the minor in Leadership, Ethics, and Social
Action. Each fall, students complete the minor by taking a 3-credit
L405 seminar to finalize their project.
The spring meetings will guide you to envision your project in
consultation with a faculty mentor and a community partner. The
synergy of working with others begins with this vision and continues
as you put together a project proposal. A Memorandum of
Understanding and proposal for your capstone project are the products
of the spring preparation, and are the prerequisite for the capstone
course in the fall.
Students who will not be on campus in the spring, or who are fully
enrolled in 17 hours without this course, may speak with the
instructor about completing the work independently BEFORE the fall
semester, and may enroll in a 4-credit fall capstone course.
