Students in this course will first learn basic logic and reasoning
skills and then apply those tools to a number of different topics.
These topics will include: everyday practical reasoning, scientific
methodology, philosophical questions, and applied ethical
controversies.  This course is writing intensive.  The grades in
this course will be determined by weekly short writing assignments
and a test on each course topic.
