Infant Development
This course is about the development of infants -- that is, the
kinds of changes that take place, and the processes driving those
changes, from conception to 2 years of age. We will read a mixture
of theoretical works and research studies and we will discuss them
all in some detail. You are expected to dominate the discussions.
That means the course will be as interesting, as worthwhile, and as
much fun as you make it.
Readings
There is one book to buy:

Dawkins, R. (1990). The Selfish Gene. Oxford: Oxford University
Press.

Other readings will be available online, attached to the syllabus.
