Computer-mediated discourse analysis (CMDA), applies theories from
linguistic discourse analysis, pragmatics, ethnomethodology, and
semiotics in the analysis of discourse -language and language use -
in computer-mediated communication. This course provides hands-on
experience in applying empirical analytical methods, and in
interpreting the results.
