The course includes the survey of theory and research relevant to the
maturation of vocal behavior and prosodic patterns (including rate
and fluency) from infancy through adolescence. The identification of
characteristics of typical and atypical vocal behavior in
interpersonal interactions is detailed.  Observation and analysis of
characteristics, and discussion of types of intervention techniques
are provided.
