CLAS-C 101 Ancient Greek Culture
Section 6112 / Goh

This course is an interdisciplinary survey of ancient Greek
civilization from the late Bronze age (c. 1200 B.C.) to the
beginning of the Hellenistic age (c. 323 B.C.). Through close
readings and analysis of important examples of literature, art,
society, religion, and philosophy of ancient Greece, we will learn
about who the ancient Greeks were and consider why they left such a
lasting influence on the civic, intellectual, and artistic
traditions of the modern world. (A&H, CSA)
