Writing Poetry

2:30p – 5:30p R

This workshop will run almost like a traditional workshop, except we
will have the underlying question of “what is mysterious?” or “how
does mystery work?” or “why are we attracted to mystery” or “what
are the ethical questions raised by mystery?” As such, we will be
reading a number of poets and prose writers, in addition to the
likely engagement with other genres. Among the several texts we
will read for this
class is Federico Garcia Lorca’s Duende.
