This course is offered as a discussion in French about topics of
current interest such as the Muslim population in Europe, Europe's
role in international affairs, how Europe views America,
explorations in French culture, etc. The instructor will lead
students in a one hour discussion each week based on current
articles from the French media. The course is an excellent
opportunity for students to work on their proficiency in French and
to learn a new vocabulary to which they might not otherwise be
exposed.  Note: Prerequisite of 300-level French or equivalent
