Families and Mass Media

Course Description:  P:  HPER F258.  Course explores the impact of
mass media on Caucasian and minority family dynamics from early
1900ís to present.  It will compare family portrayals in television
and film and examines the effects on family relationships.
Additional exploration of the familyís relationship with Internet
usage and popular music will be covered.
