This course will introduce the experimental techniques involved in
studying human cognition and learning. The course will consist of a
series of laboratory exercises. Students will be expected to learn
all the aspects of conducting behavioral studies, from experimental
designs of actual research projects, to data collection, to
statistical analysis and finally to scientific writing. Students
will also have opportunities to be trained to use start-of-art
sensing techniques, such as eye tracking, body motion tracking and
virtual reality.
