Designed to provide practical experience in the conduct of research,
L702 involves the doctoral student in actual, hands-on LIS research
under the guidance of a SLIS faculty member. Two consecutive
semesters of L702 are required of all doctoral students.

The courses at the 700 level are open only to doctoral students.
