E 325 Computing for Environmental Scientists (1-3 cr.)

P: (no P required for Bloomington); MATH-M 118 or M 119; K 300 or
equivalent; SPEA-E 272. Survey of computing applications to
environmental issues. Personal computing emphasized. Application of
spreadsheets, graphics, simple statistics, and BASIC programming to
environmental science issues. Manipulation and interpretation of
real data, case studies, and projects. Many software packages used.
